Beginnings
The GDC concept was born in 1993 when founder, Melissa Greer, left IBM as the program manager of Employee Events and Corporate Discount Programs. Eager to serve a wider client base, as well as to provide expanded services, Ms. Greer decided it was time to go out on her own. Armed with her experience, and an innovative idea, the company that would become GDC was born.
Networking
Drawing on her background in the field, and over 20 years experience, Ms. Greer and her staff of professionals have formed a prodigious network with the travel and leisure industry and the arts and entertainment community. These connections make it possible to offer club members the creative options and affordable prices that are the core principles of GDC's success.
